In 1966, Margot Fraser, an unlikely champion of chic footwear, found herself in a predicament with sore feet during a trip to her native Germany. The remedy? A curious pair of Birkenstock Madrid sandals. This encounter transformed her perception of comfort, and she was so impressed that she decided to bring this "odd-looking" footwear to the United States.

Crafted as a thought-provoking statement, MSCHF's chief creative officer, Kevin Wiesner, conceived the micro bag as a commentary on the diminishing proportions of luxury handbags. Formerly valued for functionality, these accessories have evolved into ostentatious adornments where utility often takes a backseat.
